SARA VARGOVIC
Sara’s yoga practice began during her career as a professional dancer, where she sought additional flexibility training. Her curiosity about traditional yoga led her on a journey to India, where she immersed herself in its authentic teachings. Her favorite pose is Urdhva Dhanurasana (Wheel Pose), and she enjoys the balance and flow of Hatha and Yin yoga. While she sees every challenge as an opportunity for growth, she continuously seeks to deepen her knowledge of yoga philosophy and mantra chanting.
As a teacher, Sara prioritizes safety, mindfulness, and inclusivity, believing yoga is for everyone. Her classes feel like a guided meditation, where breath, movement, and awareness connect seamlessly. She loves offering personalized support and creating an atmosphere where students feel nurtured and inspired.
Off the mat, Sara enjoys time with loved ones near the ocean and in nature. Her beverage of choice? Either black coffee or ginger root tea with squeezed grapefruit. Her favorite book is Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey, and her mantra is, “If someone did it, I can do it too. If not, I can be the first one.”
Sara dreamed of becoming an actress, performer, or veterinarian. She’d love to meet Arnold Schwarzenegger to learn about his fascinating life. One of her ultimate goals is to host well-being retreats and workshops worldwide. With the spirit of a kangaroo, Sara embodies strength and adaptability. Her hidden talent? Painting and drawing, which she’s been told she’s quite skilled at.
