PEARL HE

Pearl’s favorite yoga pose is Sirsasana (Headstand), a testament to her strength and focus, while Ardha Baddha Padmottanasana presents a unique challenge. She’s continually working on improving her communication and language skills as a yoga teacher.

Her heart belongs to Ashtanga yoga, with its disciplined flow and focus on alignment, a cornerstone of her teaching style. Pearl discovered yoga during a stressful period in her life, seeking peace and finding solace on the mat. She emphasizes alignment in her classes, ensuring students feel both safe and empowered in their practice.

One of the obstacles Pearl has overcome is navigating language barriers, a journey that has shaped her patience and resilience. Her dream destination is Europe, where she can soak in culture and history while sipping her favorite drink, milk tea.

As a child, she loved watching Doraemon and embraced its whimsical lessons. Her favorite quote, “You must understand the whole of life, not just one part of it. That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies, why you must sing, dance, and write poems, and suffer, and understand, for all that is life,” reflects her love for holistic growth and wisdom.

Her favorite book, The Book of Life, mirrors her quest for meaning and understanding. Growing up, Pearl aspired to be free and independent, a spirit she carries with her today. If given the chance, she would love to have a date with Buddha, seeking enlightenment and serenity in his presence.

Her dream of liberation aligns with her spirit animal, the dolphin—playful, intelligent, and free. While Pearl jokingly claims her hidden talent is being a “rock star or actress,” it’s her ability to balance strength and softness that truly shines.
